Just read about Kenneth Koh (founder of leads leap ) wrote about a case study on how to advertise effective online using one simple trick:

So what’s that simple trick? Surprising .. List building. I think we heard many times that most marketers said the money is in the list! He further demonstrates this idea by showing an example on what Ewen Chia (Super Affiliate marketer) did on his latest free offline seminar campaign in Singapore.

Here is a summary on what Ewen did according Kenneth:
In most cases, many people will advertise their free seminar directly. There is nothing wrong with that but what if after your visitors checked on their calendars and found they couldn’t make it? Will they bother to sign up? No, absolutely! What Ewen did was instead he advertised his free offline seminar, he would presented the visitor a free E-book that is selling on the market for $19.99! After their visitor signed up, then he presented that they have also entitle to join the free offline seminar at certain date. See here, it’s really not a new strategy. You can keep follow up that prospect if they couldn’t attend last time.
