This is a quite common questions that most webmasters asks. So how do you do that?

here are the few steps: (I am assuming you have a webmaster account) Watch the following video for explanation.

1. Log on to Google Webmaster tools and if you haven’t got one, go to gmail.com and registered an account there for free.
2. Once you have logged in, click on the domain you wish to associate a preferred location to it.
3. click on the “Tools”, then “set geographic target”
4. Click on the “Associate a geographic location with this site” radio button
5. Click on “Edit” and choose the location you preferred in the drop down menu
6. Once finished click on “save”
7. Now you have finished the set preferred ranking for particular location
8. To ensure you’ve got top ranking for the location, gathering back links from the location you are interested.
