Today I received a newsletter from Joel Comm, the guy who break adsense code and earns himself 7 figures nothing but adsense and he mentioned something that I think that worth while to share with you there as an online business person. First his article’s title is “Tapping Your Passion”,

he mentioned it is better to setup a business if someone is passion about. The reason is that person will be easily motivated because they enjoy what they are working. I agree what Joel said to some degree. But in real life, sometime doing what you love doesn’t necessarily mean a business opportunity.

Let’s say for example, my friend John Watson was a painter. He loves painting since the age of 4 and during his school days, he always won the first prize in his school when came to painting competition. Therefore at the age of 18, when he left school, he went to a local “Sunday Market” and set up a stall and sold his painting. However, for some reasons, no one bought his painting though he won so many prizes during his school days. After several months, he was broke! This is a make up story, my friend but I am saying this because sometimes in real life, things are not that perfect. They just don’t go the way that you expected.

So to me, do what you like is a good thing but if what you are doing don’t bring you money, then you need to consider if you should quit what you are doing and do something which can bring you money.

That is sad thing to say but it’s true in real life. but what do you think?
