Now today, I an going to reveal the last two strategies, that many pro-bloggers are using.

Selling Private ads

Once you have stable and decent readers or traffic on your blogs, you can easily monetize it by selling banners and text ads to advertisers. As an example, let’s look at once of my friend’s blog, Gathersuccess. As you see in the screen shot, he is having different section where he is selling banner and text ads. Well how much you can sell, it depends on your niche and perhaps how many unique visitors you can generate to your blog. As for the case gathersuccess, Alvin is selling around a total of $500 per month. Of course you can look around and see how much your competitors are selling so you can have a basic idea on how much you can earn per month this way. Advertisers always would like the idea on what kind of persons are visiting your blogs (such as age group, genders, income) before they will place an ad on your site, so make sure you have this information ready. One way to do it is to register a free account at Quantcast, Compete or Alexa and give your advertisers this information when ask.

Selling your own services or products

If you are a product or a service owner like me, you can always use your blog as a communication channel to your customers or readers. I always use the blog to review my own products or as an announcement for a upcoming discount etc. So that my readers will react on it when it comes to the right time. You can try it on your own as it is not really as hard as you may think.

Doing Sponsored Reviews For Products or Services

Apart from Google adsense, doing sponsored reviews is another easy method to make money online, so how you can start? Today I want to introduce a platform I am using as an advertiser, SponsoredReviews.com. Last time when I was helping a client to looking for sponsored post, in a day or two, I have 550+ people begged me to have my client links posted on their blogs! Basically, you just need to apply for a blogger account, and stick your niche blog that you have created early on with your application and wait for their staff to review your blogs. Now, after your application is successful, you can start look for opportunity that is relevant to your niche, and bid for a price that the advertiser asks for. For example, if the advertiser asks for $5 for 300 words, then you basically bid for that price and wait for the advertiser signal. Mostly you will write whatever the advertiser ask you to write and include their keywords and links in the article. Often the advertisers here are just looking for Google Page Rank and perhaps the quality of your blogs. Doing Products Reviews as An Affiliate

Affiliate marketing is a very lucrative model to make money online since you don’t need to create a product nor need to have a huge investment to start. As a blogger, you can first purchase a product, do a thorough test and post a review article on your blog. For example, if you are in a weight loss niche, after testing some dieting programs, you can post one that works for you and post real photos on your past and presents after using the dieting programs. Certainly you should link to their website using your affiliate link in the post. So when someone read your article and purchase the product, you will get paid. While there are lot of models with affiliate marketing, I will just discuss the most simplest one that is you get paid after someone purchases what you recommend on your post.

For example, if your niche is about “weight loss”, then it is logical to offer various ways of help your audience to lose weight successfully, e.g the Atkins, Apple patch, Vegetarians, etc. Also you should have a fix schedule on how often you will post. That way, you will not lose your blog traffic easily which is our next topic of discussion.

Drive massive Traffic to Your blogs

While content is “King” of internet marketing, traffic is often referred to the “Queen”. It is really the basic rule, just remember this formula, “no readers (traffic) = no money”. So how you get traffic anyway? The most easy way is probably getting from the social networks such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Mybloglog or Blogcatalog. However, this can be a whole topic on its own, so I will cover it later.

Stick Some Adsense Ads on your blog

While this blog is making constantly US$30 every month on Adsense so it is really a method of making money. So how? Basically you need to apply for a Google Adsense Account (you need 18 years of age to apply for one), and have a blog, for example self hosted blog or a free blogger blog. Once your application is successful, you can login to your control panel and copy and paste a piece of code on your blog. The best pieces of codes are 336×228 rectangle text ads on the top left hand corner on your blog like mine here and
a piece of skycrapper stick on the right hand side on your blog. That way you can start and earn some income. The amount of income depends on your niche, the number of visitors and also how well is color of the ad match with the background of your blog. This method is so easy that basically everyone can do it.
