In my last post “How to Make Money by Giving Away Stuffs for Free“, I have showed you how to set up a one time offer in your autoresponder service such as Aweber to get people to buy your stuff for once they have opted in to your newsletter. Now, in this post I am going to show you two ways to build a list of subscribers quickly. I always use this method to get more subscribers and potential customers, and it took me around 1 week and I had 600 new subscribers (picture) , so I am really confident these tips will definitely help you. Method #2:JV adswap

Adswap was a concept that borrowed from the magazine, where two publishers with similar audiences will post their ads on their magazines for free. Now in terms of email marketing, two marketers or website owners with similar email audiences and sizes of database will join together and promote each other’s products for free. This is a great way of getting free traffic and I did try in the past and made a couple of sales along the way. The reasons now that I am not doing it is because as my list size are getting bigger and bigger each day, I have other ways to get subscribers rather than just doing JV adswap, but I still recommend this method to get a list of subscribers especially if you are new to Internet marketing or making money online.

Method #1: JV or Joint Venture Giveaways

JV giveaway is a proven ways to get new subscribers quickly and easily. In this strategy, all JV partners are required to promote the joint venture site so that they will get new subscribers from the effort. These days, there are two types of JV giveaway, one is exclusive meaning it is ONLY open to certain marketers who have a generally larger list, (4000+). The other is some what more “open to the public” which a newbie can easily join. I am luckily now fall into a more exclusively group since I built a list from last year January. No matter what methods you use, you still need a list of database to start off. If you are not building a list, you should really start now.

“Money is in the list! Yes I know that so I have started building my own list. But I never know what to do afterwards!” Does it sound familiar, my friend? I did face the same problem when I started building my own list at the beginning. I didn’t know what to write until I read an article about relationship marketing. In relationship marketing, you are establishing a friendship with your subscribers. That means you are offering free tips with real case studies or examples that your subscribers would love to hear. For example, if you are in the internet marketing or make money online niche, an e-course say, “5 steps to search optimize your wordpress blogs and receive tons of free web traffic!” would be very helpful indeed.

How to Write The Relationship Building Email Messages?

Now, how to write these messages? One way is to hire an experience copywriter from some freelance site such as GetaFreelancer or Elance.com which may cost you several of hundred dollars and the other cheaper way is to buy a set of pre-written messages from a vendor. Now what about you write them yourselves? What are the favorite topics that you should explore.

What to Write About Your Email Marketing Messages?

For Internet marketing or money making niche that I am in, there are two things that people always would look for:

• How to get more free traffic to your site? and
• How to make more money?

If you can offer a set of e-course with screen shots, videos and proof of income, most likely your subscribers will just follow what you say and I am pretty sure they will simply love to hear from you or will purchase anything that you recommend. But what if you are just started marketing online and you have little experience? Not to worry my friend, you can offer other useful tips as well. For example, let’s say you are a computer expert, you can offer tips like how to set up your first website under 5 minutes using a simple free HTML editor, how to choose a hosting package that best suit your needs and so on. if you are not computer freak but have good writing skills you can offer an e-course that shows something like “how to make your readers beg you for more contents!” These are just some examples. Certainly the possibilities are endless. Now, what about you are no expert in writing or computer? Well then I will recommend you to buy a set of pre-written email marketing newsletter. These newsletters come up with 25 must have internet marketing topics such as:

• choosing “hosting for your sites”,
• How to use a free HTML (website programming code) editor Kompozer
• How to upload files to your hosting account using a FTP program
• Different methods of make money online such as adsense, click bank affiliate programs etc.
