SEO Link Building: Blog Commenting, Good or Spam?
Thursday, January 22nd, 2009[ad#large_rect]
Do follow blogs comments are the other ways of getting inbound one way links to your sites, but there are something that you should be aware of – blog comment spams.
The stories began that I received a person named Julia from Fast Blog Finder. Last month, when I wrote about “5 creative ways of link building“ and posted on this blog, she already left me a comment which showed below and in the photo aside. This time, I found, that Ms. Julia was doing it again. That’s nothing wrong leaving me a comment but it was the same as last time she did it with the exact wording! I didn’t think twice to quickly mark her comment as spam. So what did she say? Here is the exact wording that she wrote.
Thank you for your great link building tips, I was aware traditional link building service such as directory submission, article submission, social bookmarking and I was using these methods very well. Now I’m thinking about some other ways to build links and I’m glad that I came across your articles.
At the first glance, it seemed to be a good comment, doesn’t it? However when our friendly Ms. Julia from Fast Blog Finder did it the second time with the same comment on my blog, it isn’t impressive at all. Basically they just want to promote their software and did not really thankful of my article post. In other words, they just copy and paste the same comment anywhere else that is talking about SEO link building!
I have no problem when people are trying to promote their business. That’s nothing wrong as I am doing it either but please do it wisely! When you leave a comment on someone’s blog, make sure you record their URLs in a spreadsheet file with date and the comment that you wrote about. So next time, when you stumble upon the same blog, you won’t repeat yourself! This mistake certainly costs them money as people find out their staffs are using questionable techniques to promote their business. That’s bad right?
So, when you want to leave a comment on your neighbor blogs the other time, please speak from your hearts about what you like, rather than just copy and paste some pre-made “canned” comments from your boss!
We will continue our link building tips on Friday, so stay tuned!
