You haven’t heard about people or internet marketing gurus to tackle on long tail keywords, to avoid direct clash with the big main market leader. Today I want to show you an example on how I use “long tail keywords” and got my sites rank top 10 in Google, First let’s look at some proof of my site:

1.) 7dollarsclub.com (Test on Google listing)
Currently rank #6.

2.) Prosoncheng.com (Test on Google) currently rank #3.

Well those keywords chosen is not very competitive and the big guns does missing out. Especially for this site. I was promoting biggest firesale and stick the keyword in the my page title and as well as repeat couple of times inside the copy and that’s it.

Ok let’s look at traffic, when I check the domain 7dollarsclub.com statistic with Google analytics, I found it currently receiving 10-15 daily visits where I didn’t spend much time in promoting now.

The reasons that it still receiving it’s because I spend some time in article submissions, as well as gathering links from various internet marketing forums such as Digital Point, Warrior, Sitepoint and Ezinearticles article directory and other sources. However, I do find building links by myself is rather time consuming and don’t want to outsource it because there are many freelance are not experienced enough. So what did I do? The time I spend I think it’s less than 10 hours in total in the last couple of months since August I think.

It is surely a proven method that receives free search traffic as well as increasing your site search ranking.
