How a blog contest can make you money you asked? A blog contest does not necessarily men you can make money online directly but it does help to drive tons of free traffic to your blogs or website which resulting lots of cash potentially. So “how?” It’s probably the next question you have your head.
Well, myself hasn’t done any blog contest but I am going to do one here which I am planning to give away $500 cash prizes and also an Ipod Nano. Well what I need is some sponsors which could sponsor the event, what you potentially get is:
- Million of anchored text links from blogs or websites owners
- Millions amount of incoming traffic directly or indirectly. Part of the campaign objective is to increase search engine rankings for this blog and also the sponsored blogs. If you know a bit of SEO, 90% of the campaign actually relies on the quantity and quality of backlinks. It is especially true if you want to dominate Google. Thus with tons of backlinks you will receive when you decide becoming my blog contest sponsor
- Free Publicity. You can definietly opt for the option to advertise in Adwords but if you are not careful, you can lose thousand of dollars in 1-2 days of campaign. I personally did that before and all of my advertising budget burnt in the first 2 days after setting up an adwords campaign
So you have three problems solved at once, massive of websites traffic both from search engines and websites owners and free publicity. It’s nothing better than that don’t you think?

Basically any webmasters or websites owners that would like to participate and I am going to need 3. One being a PHP programmer that able to track the incoming links from the entrants, , the other two will be shared the contest cash prizes. blog contest details
Date of the contest: I am looking to host one in May 10th which I will be free and it will be continued for a month till June 10th.
The rule is pretty simple, I am going to ask the blog or website owners to put up our text links on their blogs with <a href=”http://www.website.com/”>you keywords here</a>. The blogger who gets most links win the contest. Again only family friendly websites are allowed, no illegal activities websites nor web sites that sells online drugs.
