A short answer to these questions are you don’t need to be a technical genius to get started, and you can succeed if you know a little. So how?
There are many business models that one can start making money online but in general you need to follow these simple 10 steps:
1.) use Google Insight for search to find out what people are most interested in buying
2.) Determine your business models, selling products, services, info products, etc
3.) identify your niche or topics for your targeted auidences (e.g. World of Warcraft online games)
4.) Go to 2-hosts.com and register a .com domain with the keywords included in the domain names
5.) build a simple but professional website, for example: WordPress Secrets)
6.) Determine the uniquess of your products or services that you are going to offer i.e in other words, why people have to buy this from you and not your competitors. e.g. Most affordable hosting services in Hong Kong
7.) Learn and create a compelling web copy that will turn your visitor into customer
8.) set up an online payment account for example. Paypal, PayAlert, 2CO etc.
9.) Get massive targeted visitors to your site by using pay per click advertising, SEO, Facebook, twitter, Youtube etc.
10.) Track visitors and measure sales or business leads successful rate (conversion)
Of course those above are very general steps, in reality you have to test and test and test before you can find a profitable model that most suits you.
