When a new visitor lands on your Web page, you have less than 10 seconds to present your initial case. Fail to capture their attention and they’re off to another page.

So the bottom line is, without good content and useful information your site is dead in the water. Even if you get 10,000 visitors per day, without solid content you won’t make any real money.

Of course visual appearance matters. Your site needs to be clean and attractive, and a few nice graphics are always helpful. But the real focus of your Website creation process needs to be on your message and how it is delivered.

Your time and money would be well-spent on a basic copywriting course. Even if you aren’t promoting a direct response sales letter, the basics of quality copy will help you create the desired effect upon your visitors. Alternatively you could hire a pro to write your content for you.

Many new Webmasters look at content like a problem to be solved. They look for PLR material or the cheapest writer they can find to just slap something together for their Web pages.

This approach is likely to produce very poor results.

You should treat your content as the most important element on your site. It’s the message that either inspires the right response or bores your prospects into clicking away in search of something better.
