What is a Dofollow Plugin ?

DoFollow plugin basically lets you to strip the “rel=nofollow” bit on comment/trackback link. When a nofollow is on, the link isn’t going to count as much as a “dofollow” link in the eyes of search engines. It is essential if you want to rank your site higher in Google for a particular keyword. You know SEO actually is a 2 part processes: the so-called the on-page part and the off-page one.

On-page is something like putting your keywords you want to be found in search engines on your website copy whereas off-page is basically how many and the quality of other websites in the Internet are linking with your websites for the keywords you wanted to be found in search engines. So say for example, you want your website to be found by search engine users when they typed “weight loss stories”, you will put those words on your website Title and META tags and also you want other webmasters to link with your website using the keywords “weight loss stories”. OK? But when webmasters link with your website, they can actually do a trick on the HTML code so that that link will “NOT” affect your site search ranking. So how do they do that? then view the source code by pressing on the menu: “View->Page source” is you are using firefox or “view->source” if you are using IE. If you browse down the page, the first link you will see is “http://www.squidoo.com/whybuildalens”, if you check back to the source code, you will see something like that on the line:

This is a typical example of nofollow of the link attribute.

Got a Site wide backlink with DoFollow enable

This blog currently has a page rank of 2 but it will be increasing and I’m expecting PR 4 2-3 months later. This is because I am currently building a lot of links with it. So what does that mean? you will
having links with your site if you comment enough. (not less than 10 in last 10 days)
