When I design the title of this blog, I used the title of ways to make money online, earn cash online kind of keywords… so far it is ranked #16 of “earn cash online” keyword in Google.com.

What I did, it basically gather links from other website using these keywords “earn cash online” on the hyper text links and that’s it..

Some SEO professionals will argue that you need so called Inbound themed links or IBTL to get maximum benefits when talking about ranking your website on Google. Well I am not going to say they are wrong but they make an assumption that Google will give you a better ranking when all your website incoming links come from similar websites. But it is always true and what does similar mean? Just like web hosting. If you the webmaster or CEO of a web hosting, are you just seeking links from similar websites and is Google really ignore links from other non related web sites?

I don’t think so, if you consider the link profile of bluehost.com, you will see a lot of different websites that are involved, e.g. artistic cards by Patricia, Ministries of Grace online, Equine Studio, Equestrian Photos by Julie Wilson and so on. By the way, Blue host got top 10 rankings in Google for one of their keywords “affordable web hosting”.

So inbound theme links is not necessary. There are probably many “SEO gurus will argue with me but After all, Google is a black box and only Google knows its exact algorithm on how to rank a web site. What we do is trying to find ways to “beat” the system, and they are only approximation. So no one will be 100% correct on their claims. The way what “most SEO gurus” say that probably they want you to think to get a decent ranking on Google is hard, so you have to employ them and get it done right. But in reality, get top 10 ranking of a website in Google it’s not as hard as you think. Everyone can do it, if you follow certain “rules”. SEO as every one knows is about search engine optimization. According to statistics, about 80% of daily activities are involving in the Internet todays and of which about 60% of internet users are seeking products, or services using the search engines. In the search engines world, the statistics also show imost search engine users will only click the first three pages (mostly the left hand side of natural listing) of the search engine results of their queries. So if your websites or blogs are NOT shown within the first three pages when people query for a particular keywords, you are missing tons of opportunity to get your brand, sales, advantage of possible million of users daily!

so basically you really a search engine marketing campaign that able to get your website in front of the online market! There are 2 types of search engine marketing campaign that you can involve with, the PPC, pay per click, cost per click (CPC) advertising and search engine optimization. While the former concentrates on “buying keywords” on the search engines in return for a visitor, the later concentrates on free search engine traffic.

As a webmaster, certainly I am always looking for free ways to generate traffic to my websites or blogs such as this one but is it always a good idea? According to the search engines marketing experts such as Aaron Walls and Perry Marshall, they both suggest it is better to test the keywords that you want to optimize for your websites by setting up a PPC campaign first then if the keyword is converting sales, leads or your particular action, then you will use these keywords for SEO purposes. Since for every marketing campaign, we want to maximize the potential of the returns. I think it is trivial for any business owners. We want to spend our advertising dollars wisely right? And in general the time frame of “seeing” the results for a SEO campaign is longer than a PPC one.

It is well known fact in the industry, so don’t expect to rank a website on search engine overnight, it’s not possible and also NO One can guarantee what position your website will end up to. It is too hard. After all Google is a black box or closed system, so any attempts of SEO is a “reverse engineering” of this black box, so it is an estimation. Just be ware if someone offers you “first position in Google”.

Anyway, to get the most benefit of SEO, set up a PPC campaign first and determine your best keywords then use these keywords for your SEO campaign!

Hi readers, I found myself cannot sustain the constant of this blog and also make money online niche is really too crowded! so this blog will be closed from now on… and I am planning to involve in more search engine and social media marketing such as facebook, myspace type of thing …. and also I will put up some other websites that let me prove my SEO work and finally achieve myself to be a SEO consultant…

I will constantly involve in these Search engine things and from all the make money online stuff will NOT be discussed here.. and some how this blog got page rank of 2 and currently as of last friday, July 26 , the alexa ranking is somewhere at 700,000 – 800,000…

may be I will share some of the SEO progress here but not make money online aspect as I have been fed up!!!
